After a reprieve of winter’s wrath, we are back in the gripping cold of a Canadian air mass here in Manhattan. It was everything I could do to make the one mile trek from the office to my apartment without freezing. As I walked up Broadway, I noted the quickened pace of the others on the street who huddled down as deep into their coats as they could. It is hard to imagine that in a few short months the layers of clothing will be shed and the walking pace considerably slower. This evening, I am contemplating the indoor cycling event called “Cycle for Survival” that raises money for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center so that they can do cancer research. My team, Indoor Road Rash, has managed to meet our goal of raising $1000 and we’ll show up on Sunday morning and participate in a huge indoor “spinning” event. So glad the event is indoors! Tonight, however, I’ll just enjoy my wine. By the way, if you’d like to donate to my team, just click the Cycle for Survival Logo in this post.

My Review - Has that great Barbera/Piedmont smell. Deifnitely a medium bodied wine that will stand up to just about any dish you throw it’s way. I’m having some chinese takeout… only in America do we eat Chinese food while drinking Italian wine.
